Turkey Sausage

After bariatric surgery protein becomes an important part of the diet. Eggs and lean meats are great, but they get boring. Instead of a fatty pork sausage try turkey sausage.

Look for healthy options at your grocery store with the fewest amount of ingredients. The sugar-free maple syrup provides a delicious glaze and golden brown color to your sausage.

Yes, there is some brown sugar in this recipe. But it’s minimal and as long as you limit your sugar intake for the rest of the day, you’ll be fine.

  • ¾ Cup Sugar-free Maple Syrup
  • 2 Packages Turkey Sausage Links
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ Cup Brown Sugar
