Steven M. Fass, M.D., FACS – Dr. Fass is a board certified general surgeon practicing in Austin, Texas. He is the first laparoscopic fellowship trained surgeon in the Austin metropolitan area and the first surgeon in Austin to perform bariatric surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He attended Southwestern Medical School in Dallas for medical school and completed his residency at The University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Dr. Fass undertook his advanced laparoscopic fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he participated in the U.S. clinical trials leading to the approval of the Lap Band. Currently, he is a member of The Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgery (SAGES), American College of Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, The Travis County Medical Society and The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
In addition to bariatric surgery, Dr. Fass has an extensive practice in the treatment of breast disease, antireflux surgery, hernias and colonic surgery using both conventional, robotic and advanced laparoscopic techniques. He has been recognized by his peers as a Super Doctor by Texas Monthly for 12 years qualifying him for the Super Doctors Hall of Fame.
Dr. Marc Neff, M.D., F.A.C.S. is Medical Director of the Kennedy University Hospital Bariatric Surgery Program, based at its Stratford campus. In this role, Dr. Neff oversees the clinical operations of the program, which recently was accredited by the Bariatric Surgery Center Network (BSCN) Accreditation Program of the American College of Surgeons.
A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Neff is a 1996 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed a five-year General Surgery residency at York Hospital in York, PA, in 2001, then went on to do a two-year Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
There, he trained under recent Past President of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, Dr. W. Peter Geis, and recent Past President of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Dr. Robert Brolin.
Dr. Enrique F. Elli was one of the first surgeons trained in a two-year fellowship in Robotics and Bariatric Surgery at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Center at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Elli completed his general surgery residency at the Department of Surgery at UIC.
He was previously trained at the University of Buenos Aires, where he obtained his title of Gastrointestinal Surgeon by the Argentinean Surgical Association. He later served as Coordinator of Bariatric Surgery at the University of Buenos Aires Teaching Hospital.
Dr. Elli joined the division of General, Minimally Invasive, and Robotic Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he acts as an Assistant Professor in Surgery.
He has broad experience in the entire range of general and minimally invasive surgery, with special attention on robotics, foregut surgery, hepatobiliary, solid organ, and hernia repair, as well as bariatric surgery offering minimally invasive LAP-BAND®, gastric bypass, and sleeve gastrectomies. Dr. Elli is also skilled in single incision laparoscopic surgery and LINX® reflux surgery.
He has more than 12 years of experience in bariatric surgery, especially LAP-BAND surgery, being one of the first bariatric surgeons during his training to perform outpatient LAP-BAND surgery. Dr. Elli joined the division of General, Minimally Invasive, and Robotic Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he acts as an Assistant Professor in Surgery and a Chief of Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. Elli has published numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. He has also presented his work at national and international meetings and has co-authored several book chapters in surgical textbooks.
Patricia Sullivan, BSN, RN, CNOR, CBN, is a registered nurse who brings with her over 18 years of clinical nursing experience. While an RN First Assistant in the operating room, she developed an interest in the perioperative care of the bariatric surgery patient.
She is currently the Program Coordinator at the JFK For Life Program As program coordinator she is able to supervise the entire pre and post-operative process of the patients in the JFK For Life program.
Patricia oversees monthly support group meetings, organizes new patient seminars and provides pre and post-operative education. Patricia is committed to making each patient’s weight loss journey successful and to provide them with the tools they need to live healthier lives.
Miguel A. Delgado, Jr., MD holds the two credentials most coveted by plastic surgeons practicing in the United States, namely certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Delgado was privileged to train at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country. He graduated with honors from medical school at University of California San Francisco in 1982 and continued with internship and residency at John Hopkins University teaching hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He went on to complete a plastic surgery residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.
Dr. Delgado provides consultations, office procedures, pre-operative appointments and post-operative follow-up care at both his Novato and his San Francisco offices.
Dr. Delgado’s Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center has been honored by notable visits from the media, including the BBC (British Broadcasting Company), Discovery Australia and Fox News, all of whom have filmed documentaries that have been broadcasted throughout the United States and abroad. As a result of this national and international exposure, particularly with Gynecomastia and Mommy Makeover procedures, Dr. Delgado and his staff have had the pleasure of serving patients from all regions of the United States, as well as from far points around the world. Patients have traveled from Alaska, Hawaii and the East Coast, as well as Canada, Australia, Europe, Thailand, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, to have Dr. Delgado perform their surgical procedures.
